Social Enterprise and Peace-building

Course Prospectus

Duration:

It is a mix methods of in class teaching and online or distance education.

The course has eight months duration, starting from  beginning of January to end of August.

Subjects of studies:

Four main subjects of both concepts and practice:

  1. 1.Social Entrepreneur

  2. 2.Business Planning

  3. 3.Financial Planning and management

  4. 4.Peace-building

Course Structure:

Each subject requires two months  with one week face to face teaching or seminar.

Course support:

There is ongoing support for students through online communication and video conference and direct visit.

Requirement:

Finished secondary school

Fluent in Khmer both read and write

Basic English language skill

Know how to use email and internet

At least 18 years of age

Course Fee:

USD30 per subject, USD 90 total for the whole course


Scholarship:

For poor student could apply for scholarship support for share cost or full cost, depend on case considered.

Project support:

Students are encouraged to develop own project as part of course work and can compete for grant that can be winning up to USD 1,000 per project.

Other benefits:

Students who successfully complete the course will be legible to be part of social business network and job opportunity set up by the organization and its partners.

They also can benefit from professional work experience from the organization and partners's programs to support youth such as exposure trip, exchange program and others.
